Your Face Thread Lift Consultation
Your free consultation will be with one of our experienced patient co-ordinators and cosmetic nurses. They will arrange an appointment for you to meet with your Surgeon before your thread lift procedure who will explain what option is best for your requirements and how you can expect to look afterwards.
The Procedure for a Face Thread Lift
A thread lift procedure is done under local anaesthetic and sedation which means you are asleep during the procedure and can not feel anything. There is no overnight stay required and the procedure takes up to two hours. It is not intended to replace a conventional facelift but rather provide you with an innovative approach to looking and feeling younger. The procedure gently elevates facial contours by replacing sagging tissue to where they used to be in your youth. New collagen forms around each thread to maintain the lifted effect.
Recovery from a Thread Lift
You can leave several hours after your thread lift procedure although will need to make arrangements to be driven home. In general, your skin will feel swollen and tight for a few days after the thread lift procedure and before you leave, your cosmetic nurse will advise you about after care procedures and will arrange a follow-up appointment for you. This is usually about 2 weeks after your thread lift procedure.
