Our Private Hospital
Bridgewater Hospital is a custom-built private medical hospital hailed as revolutionary in its technological advancements, and is an established health advisor and surgery provider.
The hospital ward area is comprised of individual cubicles, designed to ensure privacy for patients but centrally located around the nurses' station. There are also fully reclining chairs for patients recovering from minimal procedures. In addition, there are two further private rooms for patients where infection control is a risk factor as well as an overnight ward.
The hospital's fully digital diagnostic suite means that images can be transmitted immediately to Consultants anywhere in the world. With a wide range of the latest diagnostic radiology equipment, radiologists can support the Consultants in making an accurate diagnosis of a number of conditions. From familiar X-rays and ultrasound to the latest technology in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), a quick and accurate treatment plan can be created for each patient.
Three operating theatres have been installed at the Bridgewater Hospital, with a recovery area where patients can be closely observed as they wake up from their anaesthetic.
One operating theatre has been created to an extremely high air quality specification, so that orthopaedic procedures (such as joint replacements) can be carried out without risk of air-borne infection. In addition, the theatre has extensive camera facilities which produces spectacular images for the surgeons to work from and train colleagues with where appropriate.
On the first floor, the spacious and contemporary waiting area leads to 13 Consulting Rooms, a health screening facility and a minor treatment room.
Serving refreshments together with hot and cold snacks, the restaurant welcomes staff, patients and visitors.
A convenient drop off and pick up zone is located at the front of the hospital, with extensive free car parking next door.
